In the second phase, the research programme will turn to the piloting and evaluation (WP6-8) of interventions developed previously.

In the evaluation of interventions, particular focus will be placed on core dimensions of health systems. Of particular importance will be outcomes relating to structural (governance, financing, human resources), process (access, continuity) and performance (quality, efficiency, equity) aspects, but the evaluation will also consider patient-relevant outcomes such as avoidable hospitalisations and responsiveness of the health system.

WP9 will consider the implementation of interventions piloted in WP6-8.
